Professional Diploma in Hypnotherapy
Semillion is now offering full professional hypnotherapy certification which leads to a GHR recognised qualification.
The course consists of practical workshops supported by comprehensive distance learning material.
To complete the course, and achieve certification as a Hypnotherapist, with |eligability for GHR membership you must:
- Attend the workshop Introduction to Hypnosis
- Study the complete set of modules from the distance learning course
- Attend the workshop on Professional Practice and Hypnotherapeutic techniques
- Pass both a practical assessment and a home-based exam.
Workshops
Two workshops are included in the price of the course, and attendance is mandatory. There will be two opportunities to attend these courses during the year. Distance learning
There are 7 distance learning modules, which take you from an understanding of the nature of the subconscious through the process of induction to effective interventions for standard presenting problems. There are also useful modules on client management and self-hypnosis.- Module One - Introduction to Hypnosis
- Module Two - The Structure of Rapport
- Module Three - The Power of Language
- Module Four - Inducing Hypnosis
- Module Five - Professional Practice
- Module Six - Design of Interventions
- Module Seven - Introduction to Advanced techniques
Units can be bought and studied separately or the course can be divided into two blocks, by taking the Semillion certificate in Introduction to Hypnosis first and then transferring to the full full diploma.
Assessment
Assessment is a necessary part of qualification, but we are here to help you get through the various stages and make the assessments less ominous. Assessment is carried out in a variety of ways.Each distance learning module has an assessment at the end of it, to send back to your tutor for marking. These are to assist you in judging your own progress. They are mandatory, but can be taken as many times as is necessary to achieve a pass.
Costs and registration
The cost of the full Diploma includes:- Two practical training worskhops
- All distance learning materials
- Examination and certification
When you are ready you can transfer to the full diploma by paying the difference between this and the diploma and complete the course. You will then receive the remaining distance learning modules, and will be able to attend the final workshop.
